THE COMPANION JUDGES
Lyn Freeman - Pedigree Judge
Lyn, with her Parson Jack Russell Terrier, Leo, have supported our show for several years and it is for this reason we are delighted to welcome her as our Pedigree Judge. She is an experienced judge at Companion Show level and is a committee member for the Roding Ringcraft Club. She also works as a homechecker for various rescue kennels.
Kay Baylis - Novelty & Crossbred Judge
Kay’s Springer Spaniel Toby, had his first big win as our Pedigree Champion in 2004. She currently owns two dogs and this is her first time judging Novelty and Crossbred classes for us.
THE TERRIER, LURCHER & FERRET JUDGES
Ruth Arnold - Terrier Judge
Ruth Arnold has been involved with working terriers for 30 years and has had numerous show successes with her dogs. She has judged at major shows throughout the country, including the Prestigious Countryside Alliance International Terrier Championship.
Pat Flatman - Lurcher Judge
Pat, from Suffolk, was our Champion last year with her lurcher "Smokey". Pat has enjoyed a successful showing career firstly with pedigree whippets, getting into lurchers in 1992 when she won Chatsworth with "Baxter". She won Chatsworth a second time in 1999 with "Briar" and in 2002, was the first lady to judge at Chatsworth.
Wendy Brett - Ferret Judge
Wendy has kept ferrets since childhood, learning the art of working them from her Father. She was involved with Gem Ferret Care Group in Sussex since its infancy and founded the Essex Ferret Welfare Society in 1986 who currently rehome/rescue 160+ ferrets annually. She is an experienced judge with a wealth of experience.
